Why does my dashboard show 'refused to connect' in an iframe?

The site you are embedding sends an X-Frame-Options header or a Content-Security-Policy frame-ancestors directive that tells browsers not to render it inside an iframe. This is a server-side policy enforced by the browser; no client-side tool can override it. For dashboards you control, fix it on the dashboard's server by allowlisting IFramer's origin with a frame-ancestors directive, for example: Content-Security-Policy: frame-ancestors 'self' https://www.iframer.net.

Does IFramer work with internal or VPN-only dashboards?

Yes. IFramer has no backend: every dashboard is loaded directly by your own browser. If your machine can reach a dashboard (on an intranet, behind a VPN, or on localhost), IFramer can rotate it. Your URLs and data never pass through any third-party server.

Can IFramer rotate Grafana or Kibana dashboards?

Yes. Grafana embeds after setting allow_embedding = true in grafana.ini (and, if you use CSP, allowlisting the IFramer origin in frame-ancestors). Kibana and most BI tools also support iframe embedding, often with dedicated embed or share links.

How do shareable kiosk links work?

Your whole playlist (URLs, order, and timing) is encoded into the link itself, so nothing is stored on a server. Open a kiosk link on any machine and playback starts immediately, which makes setting up a wall display as simple as opening a bookmark.

Is IFramer free, and do I need to sign in?

IFramer is completely free and requires no account. An optional Google sign-in is available to namespace saved presets on shared machines, but without it the app runs fully anonymous.
